Baroque architecture was simpler and always linked to how people lived, in riches or the closeness to God. It was more preferred at the moment as it showed more luxury and comfortableness. Cesky Krumlov Baroque theatre was the most prestige theatre at the moment and is now the best kept Baroque theatre of all. The way in which the design of it was used to show richness. In order to be able to develop even better entertainment led to the redesign of the theatre to deepen the stage. The incredible machinery all throughout the theatre allowed those who worked there to be able to carry out the incredible plays and musicals that they did. It was mostly seen and introduced in Vivaldi's Four Seasons the way that entertainers used different ways in which they could easily change the perspective or scenario in the stage by having rotating panels or even different backgrounds that correlated to that specific scene. Opera had its first appearances almost reinventing the Greek plays in its own way. The Castrati were the most well-known opera singers. At this time to be able to keep their high ranging voices some voices were castrated in order to keep their voices from going low as they aged. Because of the unsanitary conditions most boys that had this procedure done died. However, those who made it to the Castrati were highly renounced and had incredible power and riches. As times changed music changed with it, as new renounced singers started to take the risk on how they sing and the theme that is expressed in music. One of John Cage's first breakthrough songs was Water Walk. My opinion is that at the time even though people were sort of open to new kinds of music, it is seen in the video that there is a slight comedy towards John Cage. By using unusual "instruments" for his compositions he changes the way in which people think what music is and the way it can be created. I believe what music and art is, is just dependent on the person, anything can be art and music, there is no rules to it.
